Zenant SMS Notifications

Tenants can opt in to receive property-management SMS notifications from Zenant by enabling SMS notifications in their tenant portal settings or by texting START to the Zenant SMS number, +1 (313) 923-2570.

1. How tenants opt in

Inside the tenant portal, tenants can go to Settings, add their mobile number, and check the SMS consent box. The checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. The consent box reads: "I agree to receive SMS notifications from Zenant and my landlord about my lease, rent, payments, maintenance requests, landlord messages, and property notices."

Tenants may also opt in by texting START, YES, or UNSTOP to +1 (313) 923-2570.

2. What messages you will receive

• Rent reminders
• Payment-related notices
• Maintenance updates
• Lease-related notices
• Landlord-to-tenant message notifications
• Property announcements

Zenant does not send marketing or promotional text messages.

3. Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

4. Help and opting out

Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. You can also turn SMS notifications off at any time by unchecking the SMS consent box in your tenant portal Settings.

SMS notifications are optional and are not required to use Zenant or rent a unit.
